Liz was born and raised in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia. Earning her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA from the University of Florida her education and experience includes ceramics, painting, drawing, metalworking, woodworking, photography, graphic design and industrial design. Liz has taught extensively including, post-baccalaureate and undergraduate college students, developmentally disabled adults, and children ages three to eighteen years old. She has held funded artist residencies at The Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts, in Newcastle, Maine and The Gallery at St Peter’s Village, in Pennsylvania. Showing in over 80 exhibitions she has acquired an international record. She has been published in Ceramics Art and Perception, Clay Times Magazine and Lark Books’ 500 Figures in Clay: Ceramic Artists Celebrate the Human Form. In 2007 she was awarded The Best of the Bay for best sculpture in the Tampa Bay Area. Currently, Liz is an Assistant Professor of Art at Florida State College at Jacksonville.
